This is Book, a Cal.com-style booking page: one link where people pick a time from my open hours, minus busy times from my Google or Outlook calendar. Guests confirm with an email code (no account), then get a confirmation email with a calendar invite. My copy starts empty. Set it up in this order, using my Charming tools: 1. Call claimHost on my copy. That makes me the host. Only do this for me. 2. Guest booking: create_webhook on my copy's guestWrite op. Call configureGuestRelay with the webhook's delivery URL. Then show me the webhook secret and tell me to paste it in App settings β Secrets as GUEST_HOOK_KEY. When I say done, call getSetup and confirm relay is "ok". 3. Email: tell me to paste my Resend API key in App settings β Secrets as RESEND_API_KEY myself (never ask me for the key). Ask which sender address to use (it must be on a domain verified in my Resend account), my sender name, and the email that should get new bookings. Save them with saveEmailSettings, then call getSetup and confirm email is "sender_set". 4. Make my copy Public with set_public so guests can open the booking page without signing in. 5. Ask for my name, a one-line bio, and my time zone, and save them with saveProfile. Ask for my weekly hours and save them with saveAvailability. Ask which meeting types I offer (title, length, video or phone) and save each with saveEventType. 6. Calendar: tell me to copy the secret iCal address from Google Calendar (Settings, my calendar, Integrate calendar) or the ICS link from Outlook (Settings, Calendar, Shared calendars), then save it with saveCalendars and run syncCalendars. Finally, tell me to open my copy, go to the dashboard, and copy my booking link from the top.
Your own booking link, without sending people to a scheduling platform. Copy it, then let your agent set it up. It takes about five minutes.
For guests
- Your profile with every meeting type you offer, like a 15 minute intro or a 45 minute review
- A month calendar with open times in their own time zone, 12h or 24h
- Confirm with an email code. No account, no app.
- A confirmation email with a calendar invite, plus Google, Outlook, and Apple buttons on the confirmation page
- Cancel from the booking page, and the invite is removed from their calendar
For hosts
- Weekly hours, days off, buffers between meetings, minimum notice, and how far ahead people can book
- Paste your Google Calendar or Outlook iCal link so busy times stay blocked. Guests only see open times.
- Every booking in one dashboard with the guest's local time and notes
- An email for every new booking and cancellation, with the invite attached
Change anything by asking your agent. "Add a 45 minute portfolio review and block Fridays" just works.
You'll need a free Resend account with a verified sending domain. Codes and invites go out from your own address. Calendar sync reads Google Calendar and Outlook; iCloud isn't supported yet.
