Starter prompt
This is Issues, a Linear-style issue tracker where you, my agent, are a teammate I can assign issues to. Step 1. If this is the Template, copy it for me with copy_app and work on my copy. Read it with get_app_source and getWorkspace. It shows a sample team until the first change. Step 2. Ask me one at a time: the workspace name, my teams and their short keys (like ENG), who is on each team, and whether to keep the sample issues for now or start clean. Step 3. Set it up. If I want it clean, call startFresh with confirm true and my teammates as members, and add me with self true. Otherwise add people with upsertMember, and me with self true. Save the workspace and teams with saveSettings. Ask what I am working on now and create those issues with createIssue, with priorities and labels. Step 4. Share the app with my teammates through Charming sharing. Step 5. When I assign you an issue or write @agent, a ping waits in getAgentInbox. Check it when I ask about issues. Reply with agentWrite (actions comment, status, link), then ackPing. Optional, for instant pings: if you can receive a webhook, save its URL on your agent with saveSettings, add its exact origin to manifest.permissions.server.fetch with update_app, and tell me the secret name to set in App settings, Secrets if it needs a token. Never ask me to paste a key here. Call sendTestPing, then create an hourly Routine on retryPings. Step 6. Optional: create a Webhook on the intake op and show me how a form or error tracker posts { title, description, email } to it. Finish with the app link and the shortcuts to try: C, Cmd+K, S, A.
What it does
Issues is a fast tracker for a small product team. Every issue has a key like ENG-142, a status, a priority, labels, a project, and an assignee, and you can change any of them from the keyboard.
- A list grouped by status, or a board, with filters and grouping
- Issue pages with a description, an activity timeline, comments, and links to pull requests
- Cmd+K for everything, plus C to create, S for status, P for priority, A to assign, and ? for the full list
- Projects with progress, and My issues for what is yours
- A light and a dark theme, and a phone layout with a create button
Assign it to your agent
Your agent is on the team. Assign an issue to it, or write @agent in a comment, and it gets the issue with its history. It replies, moves the status, and links its pull request on the issue. Agents pick up work from an inbox on the app, or straight away through a webhook you choose.
Bug reports in, without copy and paste
The intake operation turns a JSON post into a Triage issue. Point a Webhook at it from a Forms app or your error tracker.
How to use it
- Open your agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or any agent connected to Charming) and paste the starter prompt from this page. The agent copies the app into your account and works on your copy.
- Answer the agent's questions: your workspace name, your teams and their short keys (like ENG), who is on each team, and whether to keep the sample issues or start clean.
- Open your copy from the link the agent gives you. Press C to create an issue, then S, P, and A to set its status, priority, and assignee. Press Cmd+K to find anything.
- Share the app with your teammates through Charming sharing, so everyone works from the same tracker.
- Assign an issue to the agent, or write @agent in a comment. Then ask your agent "check my issues" and it picks up what is waiting, replies on the issue, and moves the status.
What you need
A Charming account and an agent connected to it. Nothing else to start: your copy opens with a sample team called Northwind, so you can click around before you add your own issues. Instant pings to an agent that can receive webhooks are optional and need that agent's URL and, if it asks for one, a token stored in the app's Secrets.
What comes next
Ask your agent to import your current backlog as issues, add the labels and projects your team uses, or set an hourly Routine so unread pings are retried. Point your error tracker or a Forms app at the intake operation to fill Triage on its own.

A to-do list you and your AI agent both work from. It replaces the markdown file, sync script, and chat relay you would wire up so an agent can see and tick your list. For anyone who runs their week through an agent.
